At Holy Cross Sisters’ School, we believe in developing the whole child — mind, body, and spirit. Our Sport and Extra-Mural Programme plays a vital role in school life, giving learners the chance to build skills, grow in confidence, and enjoy enriching experiences outside the classroom.

Programme Overview
Our 2025 Extra-Mural Programme begins the week of 27 January 2025.

• Duration: Terms 1 to 3 (most activities). Athletics takes place in Terms 1 & 4.

Arts, Choir & Music
Senior Choir (Grades 3–7): Beginning of the year
Rehearsals are held on Mondays and Fridays.

Art & Drawing Club (Terms 1–3):
Offered to:

• Juniors: Grades 1–2

• Mid-Level: Grades 3–4

• Seniors: Grades 5–7

• Limited space – first come, first paid.

External Extra-Murals (Grades R–7)
These take place on campus but are managed by independent providers. Fees and sign-ups are handled directly through them:

Dress Code for Sport

• Summer: Maroon sleeveless vest or white golf shirt with badge, blue shorts, and white takkies

• Winter: School tracksuit, with choice of maroon vest or white golf shirt (short or long sleeve)

  • Long-sleeve shirts available from the school for R200

All other items can be purchased from Campus Lifestyle, open Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9am to 3pm.
